Yet another Labour puzzle
Date: 15/04/2010
The Labour parties recent puzzle , the grey men ? was a no brainer to solve.
We suppose the main message here was some sort of choice between a candidate in socialist red and three other hidden faces.
So when we solved the puzzle it was clear the choices were not that simple
So what were the messages from this publication:-
The candidate says " put local back into politics" , No dear! You are expected to represent the residents of Darlington in Westminster and that is principally National politics.
The candidate says " Darlington is my home and I'm staying here" , No dear! you will be living in London most of the time to do the job properly.
The candidate says " I want to make a real difference " , Yes dear you already have .
As a Cabinet member , a post you ditched when you had the chance to stand as a candidate you
did made a big difference.
Such as the overspend on the Pedestrian Heart and on the Eastern Transport Corridor
The prolific out of control yearly expenditure which has left Darlington finances in the mess they are in resulting in redundancies in loyal town hall staff.
The failure of the Schools admissions policy.
The list of of the real differences is endless but we can save some for another day
