LABOUR RELIES ON UNELECTED MINISTERS
Date: 10/06/2009
How is it that the Labour party , which has long muttered about the
need for an elected upper chamber, now has seven peers as senior
ministers and cabinet members? If,heaven forbid, the prime minister ever
goes under a bus[very unlikely, since its years since he ever saw one]
the acting Prime Minister would be dear old Mandy, twice thrown out of
government and now second only to the PM in power. Has he been elected?
No.Similarly with Lord Adonis, able but representing no one.
Equally, only one women now heads a department alone in Cabinet, and
she's Ed Balls wife poor girl. All other powerful women have either
left in despair or been sacked.
Could this be Mandy's influence or the PM's problem with uppity females?
Either way this is a make shift cabinet, designed by Mandy and there to paper over the cracks.
Expect a blizzard of meaningless initiatives in the next few weeks, all
in order to take the heat of our great inglorious leader
