MP's expenses

I trust the Labour Member of Parliament for Darlington in volunteering
to the press his " expenses" does not expect this act excludes him from
public condemnation.
MP's are quite rightly being robustly challenged on the question "do you know right from wrong" seemingly many MP's do not.
To smile blandly and say I did nothing wrong I did it within the rules
is simply confirming gross naevity and an I don't care attitude.
The sums involved may be large or small that is not the issue, it is
the sheer arrogance of those persistent offenders which is unacceptable.
It is the Governments duty to protect the taxpayers interests, a duty
it has like many other duties lamentably failed to do as have its [
our] servants.
