Council cuts Date: 29/07/2010 Darlington's controlling Socialist cabinet called a special meeting to review the first round of expenditure cuts required by the government, a government democratically elected by people who rejected the socialist philosophy imposed previously on the nation. The Cabinet members consumed more oxygen , as did the trade union representatives blaming the coalition than considering how to rise to the challenge of putting the nations problems to rights. There is still a denial of the economic circumstances by the socialists as there has been for the last few years. How is it that the socialist have been in power for thirteen years and during that time they reduced the United Kingdom from the fifth strongest economy to that of a third world nation,sold off the nations assets , raided pensions and borrowed to the hilt to fuel a feel good economy. They then deregulated the banks and put their control into the FSA which failed them and business from the onset. Yet it is still someone else's fault!
